Work You’ll Do

Interface with internal audit, business, IT, and members of executive management to design and implement solutions. Help to identify and evaluate complex business process and technology risks. Evaluate and implement internal controls that mitigate risks. Participate in risk assessments, determine internal audit plans, execute internal audit programs, assess issues, and work with management to determine remediation plans and track progress. Understand clients business environment and basic risk management approaches. Demonstrate knowledge of market trends and competitor activities, products, and service lines. Assist in preparing project plans and weekly status reports. Address the business risks that threaten strategic objectives around growth and profitability; enhance effective management of the business, technology, and financial risks on a sustained basis. Contribute to a strong client relationship through interactions with client personnel.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's (or higher) degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent).
  • Eighteen months of experience assessing internal controls.
  • Experience must include eighteen months of:
    • Designing and conducting analyses leveraging quantitative techniques and statistical methods to quantify the impact of policy and/or market changes within the Life Science and Health Care industry;
    • Utilizing various analytical tools, including MATLAB, SAS, Python, and SQL, visualization tools, including Tableau and QlikView, and data sources;
    • Integrating business needs and technological solutions, including gathering business requirements, testing, training, and defining support procedures and implementation;
    • Utilizing Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Microsoft Project to prepare risk assessment reports;
    • Analyzing, assessing, and improving the effectiveness and efficiencies of governance, financial, and operational control processes;
    • Performing assessment, remediation, implementation, and integration of end-to-end risk mitigation solutions;
    • Providing recommendations for improved and enhanced business efficiency to clients; and
    • Providing recommendations to clients for enterprise risk compliance activities.
  • Position requires 80% travel.
