Work You’ll Do
Provide modeling expertise related to a wide range of models and purposes for Deloitte's clients in North America and worldwide. Develop, challenge, and control models used by organizations for a range of purposes including risk management and operations and business reorganization. Provide qualitative and quantitative consulting services in the areas of data science, Al, model development, model validation, model risk management, modeling technology, model governance, controls, documentation, and financial instrument valuation. Identify opportunities for growth and maximize long-term advantage for our clients. Provide professional judgment on engagements by providing proactive solutions and recommendations. Develop financial instrument valuation concepts. Explain difficult financial modeling/valuation concepts to diverse audiences and to experts at various clients. Provide technical assistance and financial modeling expertise to non-technical clients and internal teams. Provide recommendations for improved and enhanced business efficiency to clients. Assist with data science, Al, modeling techniques, financial markets, derivative valuation, trading, deal structuring, and risk management.

Requirements
- Bachelor's (or higher) degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent).
- Eighteen months of experience performing financial modeling, model risk validation, and evaluations of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) models.
- Experience must include eighteen months of:
- Identifying and evaluating risks and proposing potential risk mitigation plans and solutions to enhance processes;
- Collaborating with various stakeholders and vendor teams to evaluate Machine Learning models using qualitative & quantitative assessments developed from Trustworthy AI (TWAI) Framework and platforms including Trustworthy AI Pipeline (TAP), Chatterbox Labs AI Model Insights, Dataiku, and DataRobot;
- Developing AI/ML products and leading AI initiatives including AI Governance Framework, AI Algorithmic Risk & Assurance offering, AI AlphaLabs, Ethical Tech, and ITS AI Academy;
- Performing extract, transform and load (ETL/ELT) operations and exploratory data analysis on the corresponding data from SQL databases, Azure log analytics workspaces, and other cloud databases;
- Creating data visualizations on tools, including Tableau, Kusto Explorer, Azure Log Analytics, and PowerBI, and programming languages, including Python, R, SQL, and KQL;
- Performing model risk validations to ensure compliance with SR 11-7 frameworks;
- Working with large databases and query languages, including SQL, and utilizing Microsoft Excel tools, including macros, VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and VBA;
- Presenting financial modeling/valuation concepts to diverse audiences and client experts;
- Modeling financial problems to assist with valuation of assets; and
- Improving effectiveness and efficiency of business processes and detecting unusual financial relationships.
- Position requires approximately 50% domestic travel.
- Salary: $58,947 - $164,115/yr.
