Work You’ll Do

Advisory Manager in Accounting & Reporting Transformation & Securitization to attain quality internal and external communications and deliverables, including technical content of reports and proposals; understand clients’ businesses; deliver services meeting engagement leader specifications; build strong client relationships and ensure ongoing client communication; play substantive role in engagement planning, economics, and billing; utilize knowledge of various commodities markets; enhance relationships with audit and tax professionals and support audit engagements with specialized accounting and industry knowledge; evaluate, counsel, mentor, and provide feedback on performance of subordinates and assist with recruitment retention of professionals; help clients understand, assess, and operationalize complex accounting and reporting changes; create and execute strategic initiatives; integrate technological solutions through processes and methodologies tailored to clients’ needs; write engagement letters and participate in “add-on” sales to clients; and participate in proposal development efforts, including creating and delivering presentations to obtain new business engagements.





  • Bachelor’s (or higher) degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent).
  • Five years of experience performing financial modeling and interpreting financial modeling results.
  • Experience must include five years of:
    • Reviewing agreements and assessing transactions under Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS);
    • Implementing cloud-based accounting software to optimize financial reporting and analysis;
    • Testing technology outputs to determine accuracy and compliance of system-generated accounting calculations with accounting standards;
    • Performing assessments of operational processes, controls to address operational risk, and risks of material misstatement, and providing recommendations for resolution;
    • Developing and executing risk-based approaches to identify transactions affected by relevant accounting standards and applicable changes to those standards;
    • Reviewing financial statements, including reviewing quarterly financial information and annual reports, under US GAAP and IFRS, and interacting with clients to discuss issues;
    • Attending and presenting workshops and meetings to address the risks and impact of accounting regulations to clients, utilizing PowerPoint;
    • Preparing engagement letters, performing pricing forecasts, and responding to requests for proposals (RFPS); and
    • Mentoring and coaching junior team members, including providing performance feedback.
  • Experience must include two years of:
    • Liaising with executive level personnel; and
    • Leading teams with multiple work streams through the full lifecycle of an engagement.
  • Position requires 60% travel.
