Work You’ll Do
Offer advice to clients on financial, economic and strategic “lifecycle” events and transactions through four main service areas: Corporate Finance, Forensic & Dispute Services, Reorganization Services and Valuation Services. Provide such services as: forensic and litigation consulting; corporate investigations; technology risk assessments; electronic data recovery/evidence management; transaction advisory services for acquisitions, divestitures and recapitalizations; business valuation; and restructuring. Help companies identify measure and articulate the value of their assets by providing independent and well-supported valuations. Help clients to properly quantify and articulate values for financial reporting, taxation, transaction, financing, litigation, and strategic management purposes. Understand the requirements associated with the development of value conclusions under GAAP, tax, and regulatory rules that allow companies to understand the value of an entity, asset, or liability so they can make informed business and investment decisions. Manage the day to day aspects of client relationships and projects. Has responsibility for the quality of client deliverables, mentoring and developing staff and senior associates, developing client network, and supporting efforts in developing and executing sales and marketing strategies.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematical Finance, Finance, Economics, Financial Engineering, Engineering, Accounting, or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent).
- Five years of financial modeling and business valuation experience.
- Experience must include five years of:
- Performing audit review procedures and preparing client reports in accordance with ASC 820, ASC 718, ASC 842, ASC 805, ASC 815, and IRC 409a standards;
- Performing valuation analysis for investment portfolio clients, including equity allocation analysis, option pricing models, current value method, and probability-weighted expected return methods;
- Performing complex securities valuation services, including valuation of debt instruments, convertible bed securities, restricted stock units, common and preferred equities, and warrants and contingent considerations;
- Performing business and financial assets/liabilities (including loans and borrowings) valuations for mergers and acquisitions, tax purposes, management planning purposes, financial reporting, and regulatory reporting;
- Utilizing valuation techniques such as discounted cash flow method (income approach), guideline public company method and guideline public transaction method (market approach), and cost method (asset approach);
- Performing research and valuations using Bloomberg and Capital IQ to prepare business enterprise and intangible asset valuation reports;
- Analyzing commercial banks' products and services, including loans, deposits, and securities, to perform cash flow modeling;
- Utilizing Black-Scholes-Merton option pricing model, Monte Carlo simulation model, and binomial lattice model to value employee stock options and warrants in accordance with U.S. GAAP, including FASB ASC 718; and
- Performing analysis of remaining useful life, technology migration, customer attrition, royalty rate and deferred revenue in accordance with FASB ASC 805.
- In the alternative, the employer is willing to accept a Master's degree and three years of experience as stated above.
- Position requires approximately 10% domestic travel.
- Salary: $116,648.00 - $194,413.00/year.
