Work You’ll Do
Play lead role in engagement planning, economics, and billing and participate in proposal development efforts. Demonstrate a general knowledge of market trends and competitor activities and assist in retention of professionals. Identify and evaluate complex business and technology risks, internal controls that mitigate risks, and related opportunities for internal control improvement. Assist in the selection and tailoring of approaches, methods, and tools to support service offerings or industry projects. Use technology-based tools or methodologies to review, design, and/or implement products and services. Construct and assess high-level and detailed security programs translating business needs and regulatory requirements into cost effective and risk appropriate controls. Identify opportunities to improve engagement profitability. Understand clients’ business environment and basic risk management approaches. Develop information security strategies and plans based upon generally accepted security standards. Utilize knowledge of business processes, internal control risk management, IT controls, business and information technology management processes, and market trends on client engagements. Build and nurture strong client relationships.

Requirements
- Master’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Risk Management, or related field (willing to accept foreign equivalent).
- Three years of cyber risk and regulatory compliance experience.
- Experience must include three years of:
- Addressing information technology and business environment risks, including designing approaches to develop risk management and information security strategies and plans based upon generally accepted security standards, including OWASP, NIST and government regulations;
- Performing security risk assessments based on project scope and identified security risk areas and providing security risk scores;
- Creating security architecture diagrams explaining proposed solutions specific to the project and embedding diagrams into design documents and security risk assessment reports;
- Developing reporting and key performance indicators (KPIs) and participating in the creation of enterprise information security and risk management documents (policies, standards, baselines, guidelines, and procedures);
- Coordinating penetration testing engagements, including facilitating development of security testing scenarios/scripts, validating test completion, and ensuring the quality of deliverables created by the team;
- Evaluating, implementing, and deploying automated application security testing on web and mobile applications, application programming interfaces (APIs), and web services using leading application security testing tools, including Checkmarx Static Testing, HCL Appscan, Acunetix, WebInspect, Fortify Static Code Analyzer, Burp Suite Professional, Kali Linux, and Nmap, to determine client application security posture and help achieve compliance;
- Configuring and integrating application security tools, including Checkmarx Static Testing, HCL Appscan, Acunetix, WebInspect, Fortify Static Code Analyzer, and Burp Suite Enterprise, with development and build technologies, including Azure, Jenkins, Bamboo, GitHub actions, and TeamCity, as a DevSecOps subject matter expert;
- Facilitating and performing automated and manual secure code testing on web, mobile, and thick applications developed using C++, C#, ASP.NET, Java, Python, PHP, or Java Script;
- Developing proposals, working on sales initiatives, developing thought-knowledge and leading practice guidelines, and mentoring junior staff; and
- Liaising with executive level personnel, leading client facing meetings, and leading teams with multiple work streams through the full life cycle of an engagement.
- Position requires approximately 80% travel.
