Position Summary

Deloitte & Touche LLP seeks an Advisory Manager in Morristown, NJ.

Work You’ll Do

Work with clients to improve their ability to react in a digital world and enable scalability, remove performance barriers, enable innovation, modernize core systems, and reimagine their businesses with SAP digital solutions. Lead and manage large teams responsible for finance transformation implementations using SAP tools including S/4HANA, SAP Business Planning and Consolidation, SAP Profitability and Performance Management, and SAP Business Warehouse across Finance, Supply Chain, Customer and Sales Operations, and Technology (Mobility and User Experience, Cloud and Virtualization, Data Management and Analytics) functions. Evaluate the software technology needs of organizations, developing strategies to increase the companies’ profitability, design and implement plans to comply with legislation, and ensure business growth. Manage day-to-day interactions with executives and sponsors, and develop and maintain contact with top decision makers. Participate and lead aspects of the IT project proposal development process and contribute to the development of proposal pricing strategies. Improve internal processes, and promote SAP knowledge sharing within the team, by contributing to the community of practice, blogs, and other forms of market eminence.



  • Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent).
  • Five years of experience implementing ERP systems, including SAP.
  • Experience must include five years of:
    • Performing functional configuration and solution design for cost allocations and financial planning using SAP tools including SAP Business Planning and Consolidation (SAP BPC) and SAP Profitability and Performance Management(SAP PaPM);
    • Reviewing financial budgeting and allocations and planning business process improvements;
    • Participating in all phases of a full-lifecycle SAP implementation, including requirement gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment;
    • Analyzing clients regulatory, management, and operational reporting requirements and designing and building SAP BW solutions to address such requirements;
    • Performing project management, including client resources and teams, financials, risk evaluations, and liaising with client executives;
    • Conducting sessions to gather and analyze business requirements, and translating business requirements into systems requirements;
    • Designing High Level Design Document highlighting all the use cases, high level architecture and required process logic;
    • Designing Low Level Design Document containing detailed functional logic of each module, pseudo code, database tables, and dependency issues; and
    • Managing teams in the areas of unit testing, integration testing, and cutover of the SAP software solution on the client platforms in order to deploy and roll-out the to-be design of the clients' business processes.
  • Position requires approximately 50% travel.
