Position Summary

Work you'll do
  • Managing Payment Runs, Check Printing, and other payment related activities
  • Collaborate with necessary teams to take appropriate action to block vendor records from payment until they receive updated banking
  • Coordinate with local business to obtain updated banking or other interaction to resolve rejections
  • Application Testing related activities
  • Maintain Process documentation
  • Manage aging of invoices pending approval or correction by Preparers
  • Respond to customer queries from team mailbox/Perform extensive customer service
  • Account Reconciliations
  • 1099 Processing
  • Collaborate with participating countries, geographies, and/or member firms, other GFS business areas, and other support organizations (technology, contact center, GPO) to ensure end to end coordination
  • Proactively identify data gaps and develop solutions, mitigate risks, highlight areas of opportunity to streamline and automate

Qualifications
  • 2 or more years experience in Accounts Payable; ideally with a professional service firm
  • Bachelors degree in accounting, finance, or related subject. 
  • Must be able to work in Hermitage office three days per week from 8am to 12pm Central time
    • Experience in reporting
    • SAP experience is ideal
    • Ability to organize data and apply business context to improve processes or operations, improving efficiency and effectiveness
    • Detail oriented with strong problem-solving, analytic, communication, writing and presentation skills.
    • Experience navigating through complex organizations with strong influencing skills to drive initiatives through to their successful conclusion
