Work you’ll do 

The Senior AI Strategic Advisor will be responsible for helping to identify, advocate, and execute Deloitte’s interests within the Defense, Security, & Justice (DS&J) Sector, with a specific focus on novel approaches to ISR, autonomous systems, embedded & edge-AI, and other state-of-the-art capabilities.


In this role, you will be responsible for the relationship and business development for the wide range of AI services offered by Deloitte. The individual is responsible for building the relationship between Deloitte and the client, helping market novel AI services and capabilities to generate client impact, as well as planning and penetrating target technology 

areas.


The Senior AI Strategic Advisor will:

  • Drive high-impact business opportunities as the AI account leader and accelerate the adoption of novel AI within GPS
  • Act as an AI thought leader for each client, including the creation of whitepapers, presentations, executive briefings, and other materials to support AI business development
  • Act as a representative to the United States government and global AI partner ecosystem
  • Apply extensive experience to establish, prepare, and win AI-centric proposals, RFPs/RFQs, and other awards
  • Establish teaming and subcontractor relationships to advance operational and business objectives
  • Demonstrate highly proficient writing and presentation skills to develop briefings, responses, proposals, business plans, and reports to reach revenue objectives

 

The team 

SFL Scientific, a Deloitte Business, is a U.S. based, data science consulting firm specializing in building mission-specific AI technologies. We are looking for a leader to support the vision, strategy, and execution of our Artificial Intelligence go-to-market initiatives within the Government & Public Services (GPS). The candidate will have a deep technical and business understanding of the AI market and should have a proven track record in selling and managing professional services to GPS clients.

 

Qualifications 

Required: 

  • Master’s or Ph.D. preferred in a STEM field, high proficiency in Artificial Intelligence and related engineering technologies
  • 8+ years of experience designing and developing technical proposal volumes
  • 8+ years of experience leading technical and non-technical executive briefings
  • 8+ years of experience of business development within the Defense, Security, & Justice sectors with a proven track record in capture and proposal management or higher clearance preferred.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI security clearance
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
  • Willingness to travel up to 5%

 

Preferred: 

  • Executive communication skills, both written and verbal 
  • Active TS/SCI Security Clearance
  • Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with experience exercising mature judgment
  • Experience coaching or mentoring junior staff
