Position Summary

Senior Solutions Architect - Omniverse

The Deloitte Center for AI Computing is expanding its capabilities and AI infrastructure with the tools and hardware that power NVIDIA’s Omniverse Enterprise platform. A suite of software and hardware created for GPU-Accelerated 3D design collaboration, visualization, and simulation.

As a Senior Solutions Architect for the Omniverse Platform you will work within the Deloitte Center for AI Computing to architect, deliver and optimize the accelerated platform that allows Deloitte to co-innovate with clients and expedite the development of new AI fueled applications.

You will be a hands-on member of the technical team that supports technical design strategy, platform management, workload design, and deployment of such resources to make them available to teams across Deloitte’s spectrum of services.

Things you will do:

  • As an Omniverse Systems architect you will provide leadership in designing and implementing high-performance distributed Omniverse hardware platforms and software used to support Omniverse users and developers.
  • Help identify and address challenges we encounter, including compute, networking, and storage, resource utilization in a heterogenous computing environment.
  • Develop and optimize real time distributed workloads and Omniverse services on projects ranging from early prototypes and proofs of concept to production and data center scale applications.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business priorities and future goals and translate into optimized infrastructure and support.
  • Support designers, engineers, and business teams with access, troubleshooting, and deployment issues within the environment.
  • Design and manage the underlying NVIDIA technologies, Omniverse Nucleus Enterprise, vGPU, VDI environments, virtual machines, and support and management of workloads.
  • Manage system operations and monitoring of all workloads, alerting, reporting, and dashboards to monitor overall system health and usage metrics.

Requirements

  • At least several years of experience developing and optimizing performance of large-scale distributed workloads.
  • Experience with rendering and 3D design simulation software like Maya, Unreal Engine, 3DS-Max, Revit, Substance, SketchUp, Houdini, Grasshopper, etc
  • Experience with cloud computing technologies.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of Linux, Windows, and Docker.
  • Experience with virtualization platforms like VMware (ESXi).
  • Experience with core network concepts, design, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with PCoIP and other accelerated remote desktop protocols (e.g., Teradici).
  • Excellent critical thinking, verbal communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

Preferred Experience

  • Bachelor’s in computer science (CS), Computer Engineering (CSEE), or related STEM field or equivalent experience.
  • Experience working in Python, Bash and scripting languages
  • Familiarity with GPU rendering (RTX) and Nvidia Omniverse software stacks
  • Experience with Containerization, Orchestration via Kubernetes, and Helm Charts
  • Experience with the maintenance and management of infrastructure for high-performance rendering and visualization environments.
  • Familiarity with large scale NAS storage design and integration for high performance workloads.
  • Experience with Nvidia GPU Cloud (NGC) to deploy containerized Data Engineering and Rendering Pipelines in a Hybrid Cloud Environment.
  • Ability to engage executive and technical audiences.

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $104,000 to $214,000.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
