Work you’ll do
- Provide communications systems, cybersecurity, and anti-tamper engineering expertise and support to provide technical and managerial expertise for configuration management, program protection, tracking and reporting, and Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) Features, and environmental conditions.
- Support the development of qualification tests to include functional performance, environmental, EMC Features, and Environmental Stress Screening (ESS).
- Review functional performance and qualification test plans and/or procedures.
- Review and interpret supplementary test data (i.e., antenna patterns, EMC reports, Software Version Description documents, interrogation management schemes, etc.).
- Apply principles, methods, analysis, and applications of radio frequency theory such as radio wave propagation, antenna theory, and antenna usage.
- Provide Radio Frequency (RF) circuits and systems engineering expertise, especially as it relates to military communications in general, and MIDS products, provide RF engineering support for all phases of MIDS products, and review IRs, ECPs and PRs related to RF issues or concerns, including Internet Protocol (IP) and mobile ad hoc networking.

Qualifications
Required:
- An active secret clearance is required to be considered for this role with the ability to eventually obtain a Top Secret with access to Sensitive Compartmentalized Information (TS/SCI) clearance.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Minimum ten (10) years of experience performing management, reduction, and analysis of data, designing tests, and laboratory analyses, including scientific analyses and interpretation of research results.
- Minimum ten (10) years of experience with system of systems design and development to modify/improve functionality.
- Minimum ten (10) years of experience architecting, reviewing, analyzing, testing and modifying systems of systems designs and implementations for C4ISR systems.
- Familiarity with Navy Marine Corps Spectrum Center (NMSC), National Telecom and Info Administration (NTIA), Naval Information Force (NAVIFOR), DOD spectrum allocation/management and frequency requests, Electromagnetic Capability Features (EMCF) testing and certification.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
- MUST BE LOCAL TO SAN DIEGO, CA.
Preferred:
- An active Top Secret or TS/SCI clearance is desired.
- A Master of Science degree from an accredited college or university in applied science, computing, engineering, mathematics, physics, management information systems, or other related engineering or computer science discipline is desired.
