Position Summary

The Client has enhancements planned for the Retail Predictive Application Server v15 systems with an objective to provide the Client with technologies and processes that will form parts of solution to improve the Client’s customer experience by greatly improving store in-stock positions, providing more flexibility in cross divisional supply, improving the demand forecasting and store & warehouse inventory management.

The RPAS Developer must have strong experience in architecture, programming and testing of applications in RPAS - Retail Demand Forecasting (RDF) and Advanced Inventory Planning (AIP)

Qualifications

  • Strong experience in Oracle - Retail Predictive Application Server (RPAS) particularly in RDF and AIP
  • Retail domain experience to understand the business requirement
  • K93 (Korn shell 93, not just 88 experience)
  • Experience working with GitHub, Team city, Artifactory and other continuous integration tools
  • Experience working in Agile and DevOps managed projects
  • Troubleshooting techniques and strong analytical skills
  • Ability to prioritize and execute in a fast-paced team environment
  • Very strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to contribute to team effort and individual achievement.
  • Attentive and reactive to customer needs and concerns
  • Excellent Client Stakeholder Management skills
  • Bachelor's Degree preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience.
  • Limited Sponsorship: Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.
  • Travel up to 10% annually
