Position Summary

Summary

The Audit & Assurance Marketplace Intelligence team (Marketplace Intelligence) is a small, multidisciplinary team that creates cutting-edge enterprise business solutions for our audit practitioners and leadership to help fuel the growth of the Audit business. The team consists of highly skilled UI/UX designers, researchers, data analysts, software architects and developers. The work we do is agile, exciting and is a valued contribution to our audit practice. Our work is critical to support leadership strategic decision-making and enable excellent client service and growth of our Audit and Assurance practice.

The Marketplace Intelligence team is looking for an experienced “Application Architect” proficient with developing enterprise applications using Microsoft technology stack (preferable with Azure experience), who is self-motivated, driven, engaging, innovative and is able to work on concurrent projects with the ability to think "outside the box".

The Application Architect will interact regularly with our product owners, technical teams, data analysts and researchers to help deliver and support business applications by being involved through the entire software development lifecycle.

The position will provide an excellent opportunity to take ownership, lead from the front, build and develop network relationships, increase exposure to audit leadership, and be a part of a team within a highly strategic focus area of the Audit Practice. Qualifications

Required: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or similar field
  • Advanced proficiency with Azure Cloud Computing platform in building cloud native PaaS solutions, with strong command over web and database platforms such as ASP.NET and Microsoft SQL Server. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Technical analytic and critical thinking skills.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience building enterprise solutions using Microsoft technology stack.
  • 5+ years hands-on experience with ASP.NET, C#, T-SQL, UML, Object-Oriented Design, SOLID design principles and API development.
  • 5+ years of architecture, design, implementation, and/or support of cloud technologies and platforms.
  • Excellent communication and analytics skills. Comfortable in communicating with business executives and technology team.
  • Limited immigration sponsorship may be available

Preferred:

Microsoft Certified - Azure Solution Architect or Azure Developer Certification
