Position Summary

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Senior Solution Specialist, Enterprise Performance, SAP in Gilbert, Arizona and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

 

Work You’ll Do

Drive SAP software advisory and implementation services to unlock the value of technology investments as discrete services or comprehensive solutions. Work to improve the ability to react on digital world and enable scalability, remove performance barriers, enable innovation, and modernize core systems with SAP digital solutions. Participate in setting SAP engagement objectives and scope, develop work plans for components of engagements, coordinate activities between workstreams, and identify changes in scope for SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) module. Maintain SAP SD configuration for storage location, shipping points, plant, smart forms, sales, delivery and billing interfaces, picking, packing, pricing, transportation, variant pricing, output determination, account determination, order user exist, and intercompany sales. Perform assessments of existing information systems and identify gaps between business requirements and current system capabilities. Provide application analysis to meet SAP architecture and infrastructure goals in SAP SD module. Help manage the complexity inherent with technology change, from requirement planning to architecture, preparation of technical functional and business specifications, testing to deployment, and beyond, helping to link IT programs to organizational goals, while utilizing SAP SD module. Develop and share reusable assets that can be readily applied to new projects. Contribute to continuous development of methods and tools.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (Any), or a related field and two (2) years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Must also have two (2) years of related work experience involving each of the following:

  • Conducting and leading Order to Cash (OTC)/SD business process workshops utilizing Microsoft (MS) Suite in order to understand clients’ current business process, and outlining future processes in SAP ERP Central Component (ECC) SD module;
  • Performing Unit testing, Regression testing, and defect resolution in HPQC (Quality Center) and HP ITSM (IT Service Management) for standard and custom developments;
  • Conducting assessment of current system and business architecture utilizing SAP SolMan (Solution Manager) to design the SAP system landscape and integration with other tools including Salesforce, third party logistics systems, and customer legacy applications via EDI (Electronic Data Interchange);
  • Configuring SAP SD to fulfill pricing requirements, delivery and invoice outputs via EDI, SmartForm, sales and billing document type, plant & shipping point determination, and interface configuration;
  • Participating in Proof of Concept (POC) configuration for standard OTC, make to order, and make to stock scenarios in SAP ECC SD Module;
  • Participating in activating Available To Promise (SAP SD-ATP), intercompany sales scenario for global organizations to facilitate the consolidation reporting using SAP ECC and SAP Supply Chain Management (SCM) in order to bring about seamless integration between different functions and provide better controls; and
  • Developing functional specifications for custom development and interface with external systems via IDoc/EDI using Salesforce or legacy applications to cater to unique business requirements.
