Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Solution Manager, Strategy & Analytics, Analytics & Cognitive in Gilbert, Arizona and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

 

Work You’ll Do

 

LEVERAGE ANALYTICS, ROBOTICS, AND COGNITIVE TECHNOLOGIES TO UNCOVER HIDDEN RELATIONSHIPS FROM VAST TROVES OF DATA, CREATING AND MANAGING LARGE-SCALE ORGANIZATIONAL INTELLIGENCE, AND GENERATING INSIGHTS THAT CATALYZE GROWTH AND EFFICIENCIES. OVERSEE DAY-TO-DAY INTERACTIONS WITH EXECUTIVES AND SPONSORS, AS WELL AS DEVELOP AND MAINTAIN CONTACT WITH TOP DECISION MAKERS. EVALUATE TECHNOLOGY NEEDS OF AN ORGANIZATION, DEVELOPSTRATEGIES TO INCREASE PROFITABILITY, AND DESIGN AND IMPLEMENT PLANS TO COMPLY WITH LEGISLATION AND ENSURE BUSINESS GROWTH. MANAGE SOFTWARE ADVISORY AND IMPLEMENTATION SERVICES FOR WORLD CLASS SUPPLY CHAIN NETWORK CAPABILITIES, OPERATIONAL KNOW-HOW, DIGITAL TECHNOLOGIES, ADVANCED ANALYTICS, AND INDUSTRY-SPECIFIC HYBRID SOLUTIONS. PARTICIPATE AND LEAD ASPECTS OF THE PROPOSAL DEVELOPMENT PROCESS INCLUDING, CONTRIBUTING TO THE DEVELOPMENT OF PROPOSAL PRICING STRATEGIES, AND ACTIVELY PARTICIPATING IN STAFF RECRUITMENT AND RETENTION ACTIVITIES. ASSESS EXISTING INFORMATION SYSTEMS, IDENTIFY GAPS BETWEEN BUSINESS REQUIREMENTS AND CURRENT SYSTEM CAPABILITIES, AND ESTIMATE TIME AND RESOURCES NEEDED FOR THE DEVELOPMENT WORK. FUNCTION AS INTEGRATOR BETWEEN BUSINESS NEEDS AND TECHNOLOGY SOLUTIONS AND HELPING CREATE TECHNOLOGY SOLUTIONS TO MEET BUSINESS NEEDS.

Requirements

MASTER'S DEGREE (OR FOREIGN EQUIVALENT) IN APPLIED COMPUTER SCIENCE, COMPUTER APPLICATIONS, ENGINEERING (ANY) OR A RELATED FIELD AND THREE (3) YEARS OF RELATED WORK EXPERIENCE IN THE JOB OFFERED OR IN A RELATED OCCUPATION. IN THE ALTERNATIVE, THE EMPLOYER WILL ACCEPT A BACHELORS DEGREE (OR FOREIGN EQUIVALENT) AND FIVE (5) YEARS OF PROGRESSIVE RELATED WORK EXPERIENCE. MUST ALSO HAVE THREE (3) YEARS OF RELATED WORK EXPERIENCE INVOLVING EACH OF THE FOLLOWING: DESIGNING AND IMPLEMENTING CREATIVE BUSINESS SOLUTIONS FOR LARGE COMPANIES BY LEADING TEAMS IN THE IDENTIFICATION OF BUSINESS REQUIREMENTS, FUNCTIONAL DESIGN, PROCESS DESIGN (INCLUDING SCENARIO DESIGN, AND FLOW MAPPING), PROTOTYPING, TESTING, TRAINING, AND DEFINING SUPPORT PROCEDURES; UTILIZING LARGE DATA WAREHOUSE DESIGN AND IMPLEMENTATION, LOGICAL, AND PHYSICAL DATA MODELING; DESIGNING, PROFILING, AND CURATING COMPLEX DATA USING INFORMATICA DATA QUALITY (IDQ), AND WRITING SCALABLE, HIGH PERFORMANCE EXTRACT, TRANSFORM, AND LOAD (ETL) JOBS FOR LARGE VOLUME DATA WAREHOUSES; UTILIZING INFORMATICA POWERCENTER AND COORDINATING WITH THE SYSTEM INTEGRATION TEST (SIT) TEAM AND USER ACCEPTANCE TESTING (UAT) TEAM TO SUCCESSFULLY TEST THE DATA WAREHOUSE SOLUTION AND DEPLOY IT TO PRODUCTION; DESIGNING TABLES FOR LARGE VOLUME DATA WAREHOUSES UTILIZING ORACLE, TERADATA, NETEZZA, AND DESIGNING AND WRITING UNIX SHELL SCRIPTS TO AUTOMATE THE LOAD PROCESS USING ETL PROCESSES; UTILIZING ANALYSIS, APPLICATION DESIGN, DEVELOPMENT, AND IMPLEMENTATION FOR LARGE CUSTOMERS USING WATERFALL, AGILE, OR HYBRID METHODOLOGIES; CREATING TECHNICAL AND FUNCTIONAL SPECIFICATIONS, INCLUDING SCREEN LAYOUTS, NAVIGATION FLOWS, LOGIC DIAGRAMS, DATA MODELS, PROCESS MODELS, AND PSEUDO CODE FOR APPLICATION DEVELOPMENT; AND INTEGRATING APPLICATIONS AND OPTIMIZING SYSTEM STRUCTURE TO IMPROVE STABILITY AND PERFORMANCE.
