Position Summary

Work you’ll do 

  • Manages agencies NIPRnet, SIPRnet and JWICS VTC environments.
  • Maintain Cisco Telepresence Management Suite (TMS) 15.x and Cisco Video Communication Server (VCS) 12.x and future Cisco Meeting Server (CMS) on the DCSA VTC network.
  • Manages contractor AV conference room installs at DCSA HQ and future field sites.
  • Responsible for the Life Cycle Refresh of DSS/DCSA AV/VTC conference rooms and End of Life desktop systems.
  • Schedules VTC sessions, maintains a call schedule and coordinates reservation and scheduling of VTC services with outside agencies using CISCO (TMS) Telepresence Management Suite.
  • Schedules JWICS VTC’s through the JWICS/VTC EZ Wizard system.
  • Perform video equipment configurations, upgrades, and installations, testing, troubleshooting and working with VTC endpoints (Cisco DX70/80, EX60/90, SX80, Webex Room Kit/Kit Plus, Webex Codec Pro/Plus, Webex Desk Pro, C20/40, SX20), infrastructure devices (Cisco TMS, MSE 8510, VCS, ISDN Gateway (CMS – soon)) and audio/video equipment.
  • Manages the TMS Server application to maintain services and databases.
  • Manages ServiceNow ticketing system for all VTC related trouble tickets.
  • Manages (AV) Audio/Video (VTC) conferences in the Training/Auditorium rooms.
  • Provides client consulting and training on control, interfaces, and use of the audio/visual and VTC equipment.
  • Provide Weekly, Monthly and Quarterly reports to DCSA Management.

Qualifications 

Required: 

  • Security + Certification
  • Experience with Cisco, Crestron, Extron, AMX, Biamp, and ClearOne
  • Experience with Cisco TMS and Cisco CMS a plus
  • Ability to lift 30+ pounds
  • Bachelor’s degree required 
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
  • Industry Certification required: CCNA, CEH, etc.
  • Active Top Secret Clearance with SCI Eligibility preferred
  • Travel up to 10-20%, based on client and project needs.
