Strategy professionals will serve as trusted advisors to our clients, working with them to make clear data-driven choices about where to play and how to win – ultimately driving growth and enterprise value. 

Within Monitor Deloitte, the Technology Strategy & Business Transformation (TS&BT) market offering helps clients unlock business agility and sustainable value through technology. We reimagine the technology + business relationship by architecting future business and technology strategies, operating models, platforms, ecosystems, and capabilities into integrated business solutions. We orchestrate the breadth of Deloitte to co-create business value across the C-suite and to the board.

The Strategic Growth Transformation market offering helps clients architect enterprise-wide and business-unit level strategies and transformation programs to drive growth and value creation through levers such as competitive strategy formation, purpose strategy (including but not limited to Environmental and Societal considerations), innovation, portfolio optimization, differentiation, and business model transformation.

Monitor Deloitte’s Transformation Strategy & Design (TS&D) market offering focuses on what we call “big T” Transformations – we help deliver fundamental shifts for our clients who are looking to either optimize, evolve, or reinvent their business 

Work you’ll do 

Consultants will synthesize overall strategy by analyzing a wide variety of solutions, selecting the most relevant tools/techniques to meet specific client requirements such as business case, pricing, or complex financial analysis, and interpreting and reporting on outputs. You will manage multiple tasks, participate in setting engagement objectives and scope develop work plans for components of engagements, coordinate activities between work streams and identify changes in scope. Consultants will also design deliverable content to precisely reflect the engagement contract and client needs and strive to improve deliverable quality through verification and validation of results.

These strategic choices help inform the development of the appropriate business models, operating models, and capabilities to support their strategic visions, as well as to maximize the ROI on technology investments and leverage technology and digital trends to architect future business strategies. 

Strategy Consultants will help our clients to: 

  • Identify strategies for growth and value creation, leveraging methods and tools like the Strategic Choice Cascade
  • Develop the appropriate business models, operating models, and capabilities to support their strategic vision
  • Maximize the ROI on technology investments and leverage technology and Cloud trends to architect future business strategies

Qualifications 

  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree and 2+ years consulting/and or industry experience or an MBA with 2+ years relevant work experience
  • Experience focused on corporate & business unit strategy, strategic planning, growth strategy, commercial strategy, organizational cost improvement, and business transformation
  • Well-developed critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
  • Ability to travel 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
  • Live within commuting distance to one of Deloitte’s consulting offices

Preferred 

  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills (MS Visio, MS PowerPoint)
  • Knowledge of or experience in broader General &Administration functions (i.e. HR, IT, Finance, Procurement, Commercial Operations)
  • Experience creating road maps and detailed financial business cases for change
