Position Summary

We are looking for a seasoned strategy professional to join the Deloitte Risk and Financial Advisory Strategy team. Work you’ll do

As a Senior Manager overseeing strategy efforts for Deloitte Risk and Financial Advisory, you will play a pivotal role in advancing the business’ growth priorities. Typical activities will include:

  • Engaging with business units to create strategies for growth and to resolve complex business challenges
  • Identifying and prioritizing growth opportunities, informing investment decisions
  • Accelerating the creation and monetization of new lines of business
  • Designing and implementing new business models
  • Driving strategy alignment through the organization
  • Delivering market intelligence to leadership

The team

The strategy professional will be part of a broader team that reports to Advisory’s Chief Strategy Officer – comprising of professionals across strategy, innovation, corporate development, technology, and AI. This broader team works collaboratively with the business to understand and shape its future.

Required Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in strategy consulting or corporate strategy roles
  • Experience working with executive leadership / the C-Suite
  • Experience in project management and leading teams remotely with a multi-disciplinary team
  • Experience in consulting environment 
  • Ability to simultaneously manage and execute multiple strategic initiatives
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Must be legally eligible to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
  • Ability to travel 5%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Big 4 consulting experience
  • Ability to thrive in ambiguous and rapidly changing environment
  • Advanced degree, MBA

This compensation range is specific to New York City or Jersey City and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $171490 to $285815.
